Living Art, a contemporary dance performance, introduces the audience to an array of artwork spanning many centuries and countries. Choreographers interpret paintings, portraits, or sculptures, sometimes literally but often abstract, creating an experience focusing on elements found within the work. Dancers convey the choreographer’s interpretation of what is happening in the scene, the history of how a work came to be, or what the piece of art means to them, taking the audience on a fantastic journey into art history.
