Homeschool Dance

Homeschool dance is designed to introduce classical ballet to all ages. VBC groups dancers by age to allow students to learn at their own pace and skill level. Students must be the minimum age by September 30, 2024.

  • Preschool Dance – Ages 2-4
  • Pre-Ballet – Ages 5 and 6
  • Beginning Ballet – Ages 7-9
  • Intermediate Ballet – Ages 10+

Homeschool dance students enrolled in the Fall session are eligible to participate in VBC’s annual production of The Nutcracker performed December 28-29 every year. Separate performance fees are required to participate in productions with additional days/times for rehearsals (generally held on Friday/Saturday/Sunday).

Homeschool dance students enrolled in the Spring session are eligible to participate in VBC’s end-of-year production, Promenade, in June. Separate performance fees are required to participate in productions with additional days/times for rehearsals (generally held on Saturday/Sunday).

Homeschool Musical Theater is designed to introduce homeschooled students to dance styles common in musical theater performance.

Lyrical is designed to introduce homeschool students to a dance style that combines ballet, jazz, acrobatics, and modern dance.
